Prospective students are welcome to visit campus and enjoy our outdoor facilities; however, per University policy, visitors will not have access to buildings on campus.

Can you walk on campus Princeton University?

Princeton University's campus is always open to families. Stroll through our gardens, view our outdoor sculpture collection, visit a Gothic courtyard, and say hello to the tigers guarding Nassau Hall.

Are visitors allowed at Princeton University?

Visitors are permitted outdoors, on campus grounds. Academic, administrative and residential buildings are locked and accessible to appropriate faculty, staff and students by key or card access.

Will Princeton University open in the fall?

We plan to return to our normal academic schedule, including week-long fall and spring breaks as in years past. Opening Exercises are scheduled for Sunday, August 29, 2021, and the first day of classes is Wednesday, September 1, 2021. Other relevant dates appear on the registrar's website.

Will Princeton be in-person in the fall?

As we start planning for the fall semester, all undergraduate and graduate students should plan to be on-campus for in-person instruction for the coming 2022-23 academic year.

What GPA do you need to get into Princeton?
